Description
The Jakarta Light Rail Transit (Jakarta LRT) is a light rail transit system that currently is under construction in Jakarta – Indonesia. The light rail transit system is planned to connect Jakarta city centre with suburbans in Greater Jakarta such as Bekasi and Bogor.
A ground-breaking ceremony was held on September 9, 2015, with the first phase of the construction will connect Cibubur in East Jakarta with Dukuh Atas in downtown Central Jakarta, passing through Cawang intersection. This phase will be 42.1 kilometres long, which include 18 stations, and expected to be opened to the public by the first half of 2018, prior of 2018 Asian Games.
Scope of Works
Freyssinet ISOSISM is responsible for the installation of seismic isolator bearings of the Jakarta LRT. This includes engineering assistant during the seismic design phase and bearing installation supervision after the fabrication and delivery phases. The first type of 600 pcs Lead Rubber Bearings are being fabricated in FPC Italy and will arrive in Jakarta at the end of October 2016.
Freyssinet is currently collaborating with PT. ADHI KARYA and the Consultants to finalize the other types of seismic isolator bearings due to different soil classifications and superstructure configurations.
