Balance Cantilever Bridge

The bridge is segmentally constructed with the segments usually cast in-situ. In-situ concreting is undertaken by means of steel carriage form travelers supporting the formwork and proceeding symmetrically on either side of the supports. Inner forms are supported by a mobile frame moving within the deck.

The deck is relatively clear for working access and the side forms also contribute to the traveller’s strength like a self-supporting, rigid mould.
